The BVRLA has welcomes the Department for Transport's review of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.
Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport Stephen Hammond has accepted the recommendations has made in Mary Reilly's report, which include accelerating DVLA's digital transformation.
"Like the minister, we agree with every recommendation made by Mary Reilly and we thank her for the time she spent listening to our customers," said BVRLA Chief Executive Gerry Keaney.
"This review outlines some ambitious goals for the DVLA and highlights just what an important year it is going to be for the agency. We look forward to working with the DVLA and believe these changes will deliver major cost and efficiency savings to our members."
