As part of the Freight Transport Association’s ongoing commitment to compliance, it has announced that it is to introduce the FTA Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) Health-Check Audit, which will require fully trained and experienced LGV and PSV engineers to perform.

Karen Crispe, FTA Commercial Director said: “With the increased use of our Vehicle Inspection Service, it is clear that FTA’s members realise the importance of the service that our engineers carry out, offering them the knowledge that their fleet is compliant, roadworthy and providing them with peace of mind. Due to the introduction of the new VIS Health-Check Audit, we are looking to enrol fully trained and experienced LGV/PSV engineers as soon as possible in order to meet demand. FTA is committed to providing first class levels of customer service and support, all our engineers require a positive approach to meeting deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.”
FTA’s commercial vehicle inspections are carried out on everything from vans to heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). All our inspections are accredited by United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and are available nationwide.
