Michael Kamper commented: “2013 was a truly remarkable year for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in the UK. We have sold and delivered more vehicles and services than ever before, and we have put the customers’ needs at the centre of all that we do.
“Under the new structure we have the unique opportunity to create a truly B2B focused 360-degree, customer-centric company. This aligned approach will ensure that all areas of our business deliver to customers a dedicated service in accordance with the Mercedes-Benz brand promise.”
Focused solely on delivering an experience which centres on individual requirements, the newly formed Truck team will continue to ensure that when dealing with Mercedes-Benz customers can not only purchase industry leading products, but will also receive a partnering experience that meets all expectations.
Michael continues: “By virtue of having launched new Actros in both Euro V and Euro VI, in 2011, no other truck manufacturer has anywhere near the experience and positive track record in the field of Euro VI technology”.
“With over 1,200 Euro VI vehicles already sold in the UK and a further 22,500 Euro VI operating throughout Europe, we’ve singled ourselves out from other manufacturers and offer a far more compelling package, not only for our products but for our customer services offerings too. Having brought together all of our Truck functions, our enhanced focus, passion and drive to expand business and offer excellence has never been stronger.”
